Structural Features of Dry-Type Transformers
Add time: 2025-07-31
Due to their strong short-circuit resistance, minimal maintenance requirements, high operational efficiency, compact size, and low noise levels, dry-type transformers are commonly used in environments with stringent safety demands, such as fireproof and explosion-proof applications.
1. Safe, fireproof, pollution-free, and capable of operating directly at the load center;
2. Utilizing advanced domestic technology, it features high mechanical strength, strong short-circuit resistance, minimal partial discharge, excellent thermal stability, high reliability, and an extended service life.
3. Low loss, low noise, significant energy-saving performance, and maintenance-free;
4. Excellent heat dissipation performance and strong overload capacity; forced air cooling can further enhance operational capacity.
5. Offers excellent moisture resistance, making it suitable for operation in high-humidity and other harsh environments;
6. Dry-type transformers can be equipped with a comprehensive temperature detection and protection system. Featuring an intelligent signal-based temperature control system, it automatically monitors and cyclically displays the operating temperature of each of the three-phase windings, while also enabling automatic startup and shutdown of cooling fans, along with built-in functions such as alarms and trip settings.
7. Compact in size, lightweight, requires minimal floor space, and comes with low installation costs.
Iron core
Utilizing high-quality cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, the core's silicon steel sheets feature a 45-degree full-shear joint, ensuring that magnetic flux flows along the direction of the silicon steel sheet joints.
Winding configuration
⑴ Wrapping;
(2) Epoxy resin filled and cast with quartz sand;
⑶ Glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin casting (i.e., thin insulation structure);
⑷ Multi-strand glass fibers impregnated with epoxy resin and wound in a spiral configuration (typically using 3 strands, as this effectively prevents cracking of the poured resin and enhances the reliability of the equipment).
High-voltage winding
Typically, a multi-layer cylindrical or multi-layer segmented structure is used.
